Help - My Refreshed floor is sticky!
There are two reasons a recently Refreshed floor can feel sticky or tacky. One is that the surface was overworked, meaning that the area was mopped too many times while the Rejuvenate Refresher was still wet. It is recommended that you only apply Refresher to a small area at a time and only mop that area with a few strokes before moving on. It is far better to allow the floor to dry and apply a second coat than to try to force the shine while it is still wet.
The second cause of a sticky surface in a recently Refreshed floor is that the mop head, floor or both, received too little Refresher when the product was applied. If there is not enough Refresher to allow the mop to glide smoothly on the surface the product may be drying too fast. The result is a similar situation to overworking the surface as outlined above. See the Applying Refresher Guide for more information on how to properly apply Rejuvenate Refresher.
To remedy the sticky surface, the Rejuvenate Refresher must be removed and re-applied. Follow the guidebelow to remove Rejuvenate Refresher.
Another reason why your floor may appear tacky is that the refresher hasn't fully dried.
In humid conditions allow extra time
for the coat to dry completely. If it does not dry within 30-40 minutes you must remove and re-apply.
